About Collars & Leashes

Every dog entering the OLDA must wear a collar! The collar may not be pronged or spiked; this is for the safety of all dogs. Spiked collars (inward or outward) are easily hooked with other dog's collars during play and can lead to serious injury. If your dog normally wears a spiked collar, please be sure to bring a regular collar (with the current dog license attached) for OLDA play.

Hanlders must have, in their possession, a leash for the dog(s) under their control (in your hand or on your body). This ensures that in the event of a problem, dogs can be quickly and safely restrained.

Remember To Water Your Dog!

Please remember to give your dog lots of water while at the dog park on really hot days. You should also consider limiting play time to avoid overheating a playful dog!

License Reminder!

Before you and your dog(s) visit the Baron Cameron OLDA, please be certain each dog has a current dog license attached to his or her collar. Licenses must be on the collar - you can not hold them or bring paperwork instead!
